ServiceNow Application Support Specialist

We are seeking a ServiceNow HAM/SAM Application Support Specialist maintains the Hardware Asset Management (HAM) and Software Asset Management (SAM) modules in ServiceNow. They are responsible for developing custom scripts, workflows, integrations, form views and record producers in support of the hardware and software asset lifecycle within the platform. They coordinate with the Asset Management Process Lead, Configuration Process Lead, Configuration Management Application Support Specialist, ServiceNow Development Team, and stakeholders to ensure the Asset Lifecycle in ServiceNow is efficient and effective.

Design and Development:

Create and maintain applications, scripts, workflows, and integrations using JavaScript and other relevant languages within the ServiceNow platform.

Implementation:

Configure, implement and maintain the SAM and HAM modules, including custom integrations with external systems.

Reporting and Analysis:

Develop reports and dashboards to provide insights into asset management processes and identify areas for improvement.

Troubleshooting and Support:

Provide advanced support for ServiceNow, including troubleshooting, bug fixes, and root cause analysis.

Integration:

Integrate ServiceNow with other systems using APIs like REST, SOAP, and JDBC.

Documentation:

Prepare and maintain technical documentation for ServiceNow configurations.

Compliance:

Ensure compliance with IT security standards and best practices.

Collaboration:

Collaborates with the Asset Management Process Lead, Configuration Management Process Lead, Configuration Management Application Support Specialist, ServiceNow development team and business stakeholders to ensure the Asset Lifecycle meets the business needs.
