Job Title: Autosys Admin
Full Time
Candidate would be accepted any of these Hub Locations:
Atlanta (Charlotte, Orlando, Miami), Chicago(Milwaukee, Cincinnati, Dayton, Columbus, Detroit, Minneapolis) , Houston, Dallas, San Francisco (Los Angeles, Seattle), New York/New Jersey (Boston, Philadelphia)
Key Responsibilities:
- Autosys Admin, Developer, Tester, Analyst.
- Installation and configuration of Autosys agents on windows and Linux hosts.
- Integrate Peoplesoft servers to schedule jobs in Autosys using PeopleSoft adapters/ plugins
- Integrate Datawarehouse, CIS, Master Data Management, BigData Management, Hyperion and other application in Autosys batch
- Proficient in using Linux as an Operating system
- Proficient in Unix shell scripting
- Experience in using ACCE to mograte the jobs from Lower to Higher environments.
- Install iXP, iDash, ACCE as an interface for Autosys and JAWS/ iDash used for predictive analysis
- Interrogate the existing security of infrastructure and make changes using the ITIL processes
- Provide security solutions like signing & encryption of files
- Set up FTP/SFTP connections with different vendors & business partners
- Participate & present the production changes in Technical Review Board (TRB) and Change Authority Board(CAB) and seek approval
- Perform data center migrations (DCM)
- Perform a successful disaster recovery (DR) drill every 6 months
- Monitor usage, performance and troubleshoot server, software and hardware issues
- Facilitate the evolution of the job scheduling platform by assisting with new infrastructure rollouts and migrations
- Analyze incidents and outages and implement preventative measures to prevent reoccurrence and timely closure of the Priority Incidents.
- Exposure in CA AutoSys R12, Embedded Entitlement Manager and Workload Control Centre. iDash.
- Oracle database experience would be beneficial.
- Proficient in Linux administration and Unix scripting.
- Good understanding of infrastructure principles and system inter-dependencies outside the job Scheduling environment (e.g. networking, databases).
Required Skills:
- Computer science degree or equivalent, with relevant experience.
- High level problem analysis and resolution skills
- Strong understanding of Change and Problem management processes
- Experience in AutoSys (Autosys Scheduling Software) and JIL language.
- Experience with Linux or Unix environment and scripting
- Experience in authoring Autosys batches in JIL and UNIX shell scripts
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- AutoSys Workload Automation AE R12 product
- Availability over weekends for PRD maintenance.
