Job Title: PeopleSoft HCM Technical Consultant - (Only W2)
Location: Phoenix (Onsite)

We are seeking an experienced PeopleSoft HCM Technical Consultant with strong Payroll expertise to support the design, development, customization, and maintenance of PeopleSoft Human Capital Management (HCM) applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on technical experience in PeopleSoft Payroll, coupled with a solid understanding of HR, Benefits, and Time & Labor modules.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and support PeopleSoft HCM customizations, interfaces, reports, and integrations.
- Work extensively on PeopleSoft Payroll processes including Pay Calculation, Confirmation, GL interface, and Off-cycle Payrolls.
- Develop and maintain SQRs, Application Engine programs, Component Interfaces, PeopleCode, and Integration Broker objects.
- Troubleshoot payroll issues and support payroll processing cycles.
- Implement and test tax updates, patches, and bundles related to Payroll.
- Collaborate with functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Support system upgrades, data conversions, and integrations with third-party systems (e.g., Timekeeping, Finance).
- Participate in system testing, debugging, performance tuning, and end-user support.
- Provide production support and root cause analysis for technical issues.
Skills Required
- 10+ years of experience as a PeopleSoft HCM Technical Developer/Consultant.
- Strong hands-on experience with PeopleSoft Payroll (North America Payroll preferred).
- Proficiency in PeopleTools 8.x, Application Designer, PeopleCode, Application Engine, SQR, PS/Query, and Integration Broker.
- Experience with Component Interface, File Layouts, XML Publisher, and nVision reports.
- Understanding of Payroll regulatory requirements and tax updates.
- Experience with PeopleSoft HCM modules: Core HR, Benefits, Time & Labor (nice to have).
- Working knowledge of PeopleSoft 9.x and Oracle Database (SQL, PL/SQL).
- Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC), upgrades, and change management.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
