Position Overview: The Technical Project Manager (Tech PM) will spearhead initiatives aimed at enhancing the Climate Risk Data Platform, ensuring its seamless integration with internal and external data sources to support effective climate risk management across the organization. This role focuses on development, delivery, and optimization of data-driven solutions while leading agile and waterfall processes, managing two scrum teams, and overseeing the development of innovative tools.

- Define project requirements in collaboration with the product owner and translate them into quarterly agile deliverables.
- Manage search and API development efforts, requiring deep technical proficiency in related technologies.
- Supervise project deliverables through agile/waterfall methodologies to ensure timelines and quality standards are met.
- Lead two scrum teams, ensuring smooth workflows and alignment with broader organizational goals.
- Facilitate the creation of front-end functionalities, including data retrieval search engines, data file accessibility, animated data visualizations, and user dashboards.
- Track project progress via monthly metrics and dashboards.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience in both waterfall and agile environments.
- Scrum certification.
- 7-10 years of relevant experience in technical project management.
- Demonstrated expertise in end-to-end application development.
- Experience with (SD) projects.
- Proficiency in JIRA for project tracking and collaboration.
