Job Details

The role of Tableau Senior Analyst is responsible for developing and enhancing Tableau dashboards for various teams.
You will be working closely with other Analytics functions and other BI team members to understand the underlying data models, which includes understanding the relationships between key tables, attributes, measures, and logical definitions.
You will offer input to the BI team in building data tables optimally for Tableau reporting needs, and troubleshoot performance issues stemming from inappropriately structured data.
You will be responsible for continually validating data for all reporting needs, and ensuring accuracy prior to releasing reporting tools to users. He/She will be responsible for all data governance and documenting logic within dashboards, updating documentation in conjunction with enhancements as needed.
You will work closely with end-users to encourage dashboard adoption and offer best practices in dashboard navigation. You will work with IT, assisting with technical Tableau-based projects, such as automating dashboard pdf generation and delivering files to external users. This position demands an individual who is a critical and creative thinker, as well as one who can take complex problems and distill them into a solution that drives efficiency, enables self-service, and provides high levels of business insight.

You should be able to adjust well to shifting priorities and be able to meet competing demands. You will work closely with other Analytics functions as an integral contributor to the model that promotes a service-based and centralized solution.

Essential Job Functions
1 Develop, test, and document Tableau reports, dashboards, and applications
2 Learn and understand the business domain thoroughly to effectively translate data into actionable insights that drive decision-making
3 Document dashboard logic and ensure data accuracy through frequent validation
4 Enhance existing data sets and/or dashboards to support optimal performance
5 Work with other members of BI team to model data and configure other Tableau-based workflows
Minimum Requirements and Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Business Analytics, Information System, Business, and other closely related degrees perferred
0-3 years of Business Intelligence experience
Tableau experience required
SQL experience preferred
Experience with a major BI product a plus
Python experience a plus
