Entry Level Industrial Engineer

Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is looking for an Entry Level Industrial Engineer (Level 1) to join our Production Engineering team in Heath, Ohio.

As an Industrial Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting our production and operational processes. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze workflows, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions that enhance efficiency and productivity. This is an excellent opportunity for entry level candidates or early-career professionals looking to develop their skills in a fast-paced environment.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the analysis and optimization of production processes to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Collaborate with team members to develop and implement process improvements and best practices.
  • Support data collection and analysis to identify trends and performance metrics.
  • Participate in the development of work instructions and standard operating procedures.
  • Contribute to project teams focused on continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations for management.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):
  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
  • Experience working in a team environment and communicating clearly with both internal and external customers
  • Experience using basic MS Office software tools including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Experience in working both independently and collaboratively as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • Industrial Engineering Degree
  • Production environment experience
