Description
We are looking for a skilled Cyber Security Analyst to join our team in Cleveland, Ohio, on a Contract to permanent basis. This role involves safeguarding the organization's IT infrastructure by designing, implementing, and maintaining robust security measures. You will play a pivotal role in identifying vulnerabilities, assessing risks, and ensuring compliance with security standards and protocols.
Responsibilities:
Design and implement security enhancements to protect IT systems across the organization.
Develop and enforce policies and procedures that regulate access to system resources and sensitive data.
Conduct risk assessments and analyses to establish effective security standards and procedures.
Recommend appropriate technical, physical, and personnel security controls.
Manage the reporting and resolution of security incidents, ensuring timely responses.
Deliver information security seminars and training programs to enhance staff awareness.
Monitor and evaluate systems, networks, and applications to identify security threats and vulnerabilities.
Perform regular security audits and review departmental security plans and policies.
Collaborate on cybersecurity initiatives and provide guidance for program improvements.
Assess and implement security infrastructure for emerging technologies, including cloud services.
Requirements
Hands-on experience with encryption, firewalls, Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), and Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS).
Proficiency in Virtual Private Networks (VPNs), web filtering, and IT forensic analysis.
Familiarity with authentication, authorization principles, and security hardware/software solutions.
Knowledge of major security platforms, including certification authority and security management tools.
Experience monitoring network systems and operational procedures.
Expertise in cloud technologies, including Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Software as a Service (SaaS).
Proficiency with Microsoft Azure and Zero Trust security frameworks.
Certifications such as Information Systems Security Specialist (CISSP) or Information Systems Auditor (CISA) are highly preferred.
