Job Details

Position: Lead SQL Developer with Finance Client Background
Location: Chicago, IL Hybrid Role Local Only
Duration: 6+ Months Contract
MOI: An Internal Video Technical Screening With my Vendor and My Vendor s Account Manager then Video Interview with The Client

Qualifications:
Educated to degree level in a technical subject or appropriate workplace experience.
Experience:
FinTech, SaaS, or Finance background
Proven experience delivering configuration/code on time and within budget.
Experience acting as a technical lead on projects.
Experience in defining test cases.
Experience in defect management.
Providing leadership and mentoring to junior members of the team.
Strong understanding of the phases of the software development and implementation lifecycle.
Strong understanding of the Change Control Process to identify any movement of agreed scope.

Skills:
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong MS SQL, data querying & data manipulation,
SSRS / Power BI or similar reporting suites
SQL performance tuning.
Strong collaborator who can work across all areas of the business from Pre-sales through to Delivery and onto Customer Success.
Able to negotiate and mediate with clients.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, embracing change and new challenges.
