Job Description:

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Bench testing for fuel systems.
  • Analyzing data and fuel system components.
  • Hands-on mechanical work.
  • Independent decision-making with minimal direction.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • Experience with engine testing and fuel systems.
  • Ability to set up test benches and relay test data.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with design prints and possibly ProE (though not a primary requirement).

Additional Notes:

  • The current employee handling these tasks is overwhelmed with work, so the new hire will take over some of these responsibilities.
  • The role requires someone who can handle the "grunt work" to allow the current employee to focus on more complex tasks.
  • There is a preference for candidates with hands-on experience, particularly in automotive testing.
  • Communication skills are crucial, especially given concerns about potential language barriers with some candidates.
  • The role might be suitable for newer graduates if they have the right hands-on experience and communication skills.
