Required Skills & Experience
- 3+ years of experience with Kafka in a production environment.
- 5+ years of experience in Java development.
- Proven experience in building and deploying APIs.
- Strong experience with Spring and Spring Boot frameworks.
- Experience in developing and deploying microservices.
- Proficient in Kafka ecosystem (brokers, zookeepers, schema registry, etc.).
- Strong understanding of event-driven architecture and real-time data processing.
- Solid knowledge of RESTful API design principles.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Experience in the financial services industry.
- Knowledge of security best practices in financial systems.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
What You Will Be Doing
- Kafka Management:
- Design, develop, and maintain Kafka infrastructure.
- Create and manage Kafka topics, producers, and consumers.
- Monitor and optimize Kafka performance and reliability.
- Implement Kafka security and data retention policies.
- Java Development:
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient Java code.
- Develop and maintain applications using Java, Spring, and Spring Boot.
- API Development:
- Design and implement robust and scalable RESTful APIs.
- Ensure API security, performance, and reliability.
- Integrate APIs with backend services and external systems.
- Microservices Architecture:
- Develop microservices using Spring Boot.
- Implement best practices for microservices design and deployment.
- Ensure seamless integration of microservices within the existing architecture.
- Collaboration and Support:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features.
- Provide technical support and mentorship to junior engineers.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner.
