Job Title: Workday Architect
Location: Milwaukee, WI
Duration: 6 Months Contract
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Workday Architect to lead the design, implementation, and support of Workday solutions across Core HCM, Payroll, and Security. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in Workday modules and the ability to partner with business and IT stakeholders to deliver scalable and secure HR technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Architect and design Workday solutions with a focus on Core HCM, Payroll, and Security.
Collaborate with HR, Payroll, and IT teams to translate business requirements into system configurations.
Provide subject matter expertise and guidance on Workday best practices, integrations, and workflows.
Lead security design and role-based access within Workday, ensuring compliance with internal and external policies.
Support system upgrades, enhancements, and ongoing optimization of Workday modules.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues, ensuring smooth system performance.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to functional and technical teams.
Required Skills & Experience
Proven experience as a Workday Architect with strong expertise in Core HCM, Payroll, and Security.
Hands-on experience configuring and optimizing Workday modules.
Strong understanding of HR processes, payroll operations, and compliance requirements.
Ability to design scalable, secure, and efficient Workday solutions.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Workday Certification(s) in Core HCM, Payroll, or Security.
Experience working in large, complex environments.
Prior involvement in end-to-end Workday implementation or major upgrade projects.
