Job Title: Senior Data Analyst
Client: Becton Dickinson

Responsibilities
Perform advanced data analysis and data validation to support reporting and business insights.
Write, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries across large data sets.
Work with multiple data sources to extract, transform, and analyze structured data.
Partner with business stakeholders to translate requirements into actionable data solutions.
Develop reports, dashboards, and data visualizations as needed (Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
Document data logic, data flows, and analytic outputs clearly and thoroughly.
Ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency across reporting outputs.
Required Skills & Experience
8+ years of experience as a Data Analyst, Data Analytics Consultant, or BI Analyst.
Extremely strong SQL expertise, this is the core skill (querying, joins, stored procedures, optimization,
debugging).
Hands-on experience working with large, complex relational databases (Teradata, Oracle, SQL Server,
Snowflake, etc.).
Insurance industry experience is required. P&C Insurance strongly preferred.
Ability to interact with business teams, gather requirements, and provide insights in a clear and
professional manner.

Experience building reports/dashboards using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Qlik, or similar.
Strong analytical thinking, data troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Must be able to work hybrid onsite in Hartford, CT or Charlotte, NC.
