If you re someone who thrives in solving ambiguity, prioritizing multiple moving parts, and backing decisions with data, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities
  • Backlog Ownership: Build, manage, and continuously refine the product backlog for the Enterprise Data & Analytics team in a retail context.
  • Requirement Synthesis: Partner with multiple teams to gather, interpret, and synthesize data enablement requirements into actionable features and stories.
  • Product Development: Translate partner requests into structured data products, identifying opportunities to generalize solutions rather than building one-offs.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with Product Owners, business stakeholders, and technical teams to align on priorities and deliver data products that meet business needs.
  • Communication: Clearly and confidently articulate product goals, progress, and value to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Cross-Functional Prioritization: Balance competing demands from partner teams and ensure decisions align with broader enterprise data strategy.
  • Agility: Lead sprint planning, backlog grooming, and Agile ceremonies to drive continuous improvement.
  • Strategic Mindset: Define and evolve the roadmap for data products, balancing immediate business needs with long-term scalability.

Qualifications

  • 6 10 years of experience in Product Management or Product Owner for Data Product Ownership, preferably in the retail domain.

  • Strong understanding of data platforms, data enablement, data modeling, data pipeline and data governance.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and product management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, able to bridge technical and business worlds.
  • Skilled at using data and metrics to drive product decisions and evaluate outcomes.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and creative thinker with a track record of building scalable, impactful solutions.
