Job Details

We are seeking a skilled and service-oriented End User Support Technician to join our IT team. In this role, you will provide hands-on technical support to internal and external users, ensuring timely resolution of hardware, software, and basic network issues. You'll be the first line of support, helping users navigate technical challenges while maintaining a high level of professionalism and documentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical assistance for software, hardware, and network-related issues.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve user requests efficiently, escalating when necessary.
  • Monitor and respond to support requests via phone, email, voicemail, and walk-ups.
  • Accurately document steps taken, time logged, and resolution details in the work order system.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with IT staff and supported users.
  • Stay up-to-date on County systems and interfaces to provide informed support.
  • Assist with Active Directory, Microsoft Office, and Windows-based environments.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in IT support or help desk roles.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and basic networking.
  • Experience with ticketing/work order systems and documentation practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Windows OS.
  • Familiarity with Active Directory and technical support tools.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.50/hr.
