Job Description: We are seeking a highly experienced Automation Lead with exceptional expertise in Selenium and Java, and strong hands-on experience in API testing using Postman and RestAssured also who can build frameworks from scratch. The ideal candidate will lead enterprise-level automation initiatives, architect robust frameworks, and mentor teams across the organization. This role demands deep technical proficiency, strategic thinking, and the ability to drive automation excellence across UI and API layers.

Key Responsibilities:

UI Automation (Selenium Focus):

• Lead the design and development of scalable, high-performance Selenium automation frameworks.
• Apply advanced Java programming skills to build maintainable and reusable test components.
• Drive cross-browser and parallel execution strategies for UI testing.
• Integrate UI automation into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.
• Conduct code reviews, debugging, and optimization of Selenium scripts.
• Stay ahead of emerging trends and tools in UI automation and implement best practices.
• Mentor and guide automation engineers on Selenium and Java-based automation.

API Automation:

• Design and implement robust API automation frameworks using RestAssured and Postman.
• Define API test strategies for microservices-based architectures.
• Perform API security testing including OAuth, JWT, HMAC, and OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities.
• Integrate API tests into CI/CD pipelines and support distributed testing across environments.
• Drive test data management and resilience testing for APIs.
• Evaluate and implement AI-driven automation tools where applicable.
• Mentor teams on API testing methodologies and tools.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

• Expert-level proficiency in Selenium WebDriver and Java (must-have).
• Strong expertise in building frameworks from scratch.
• Strong experience with RestAssured and Postman for API testing.
• Deep understanding of API security protocols and testing strategies.
• Proven experience integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with BDD frameworks like Cucumber and TestNG.
• Hands-on experience with cloud-based automation execution and distributed testing.
• Strong skills in performance optimization, code refactoring, and test governance.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

• Exposure to AI/ML-based test automation tools.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized test environments.
• Experience with performance testing tools and techniques.
