- Project Description:The primary goal of the project is the modernization, maintenance and development of an eCommerce platform for a big US-based retail company, serving millions of omnichannel customers each week.
Solutions are delivered by several Product Teams focused on different domains - Customer, Loyalty, Search and Browse, Data Integration, Cart.
Current overriding priorities are new brands onboarding, re-architecture, database migrations, migration of microservices to a unified cloud-native solution without any disruption to business. - Responsibilities:We are looking for an experienced Java Developer who can help to perform migration of client platform:
- Quickly onboard to Customer's processes
- Develop new features in Java and Kotlin for Spring Boot Microservices, as well as maintain existing ones
- Improve Personalized Search
- Modernize Data Ingestion for faster searching and indexing
- Ensure Cloud Readiness and integration of Azure APIM and Gateway
- Collaborate with other teams and client to find the best solutions - Mandatory Skills Description:- At least 5 years' work experience including front-end and back-end experience
- Strong knowledge of Java/Kotlin language
- Strong knowledge of Spring/SpringBoot
- Strong in JavaScript, 3+ years of experience
- Strong knowledge React.js
- Familiarity with databases (SQL/PostgreSQL), serving static web assets, and U/UX design
- Deep understanding of enterprise application architecture patterns
- Experience with distributed systems
- Familiar with microservice architecture patterns
- Familiar with Containers and Orchestration Systems (Kubernetes/PKS/OpenShift)
- Adoption of Agile and DevOps culture
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
