JOB SUMMARY
The CX Measurement & Insights team manages quantitative and qualitative marketing research for the enterprise, including research design, research execution, analysis, actionable insight synthesis, and presentation creation. The team partners with and presents learnings and recommendations at all levels of the organization, including the executive and the CEO. We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced market research professional with a proven background in delivering qualitative and quantitative primary market research and competitive intelligence for Consumer and B2B segments. This candidate will be a strategic partner for all business units across KeyBank, understanding priorities and uncovering opportunities where research can help inform strategies and improve experiences, ultimately driving better business performance.
We are looking for a self-motivated individual with strong attention to detail, that is also intellectually curious and collaborative. The Senior Research Analyst will join our CX+EX Measurement & Insights team to assist the team in analyzing market, client, and employee data - distilling insights into a package that is consumable to various audiences. This includes synthesizing insights uncovered across multiple sources to identify meaningful points of delight and friction for our clients and employees, as well as thinking progressively when it comes to the display/communication of the most important takeaways.

This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $100,000 to $110,000 annually depending on job-related factors such as level of experience. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for short-term incentive compensation and deferred incentive compensation subject to individual and company performance.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Demonstrate strong active listening and probative skills with business partners to understand and translate into detailed documentation of optimal analysis strategy
- Analyze qualitative and quantitative data from multiple sources (clients, prospects, employees, and operational data) - to build a summary of improvement opportunities for the bank
- Conduct statistical analyses to ground insights generated in sound reasoning
- Using strong research methodology expertise, design and deploy the best research approach to collect desired insights
- Act as a player coach in managing another analyst, guiding them on all aspects of analysis noted above
- Distill research findings into actionable insights and package them into meaningful PowerPoint presentations that compel the audiences to take action
- Build and maintain vendor relationships; ensuring they are providing meaningful insights in a timely fashion
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Engineering, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Data and Business Analytics or equivalent experience
- 6+ years of relevant work experience running data analysis using SAS, Python, R, SPSS or via advanced Excel capabilities
- Strong working knowledge of statistical techniques (numerous regression and other advanced multivariate analyses)
- Proficient in Excel (multi-layer formulas as well as applying statistical testing) and PowerPoint
