Job Details

About the Project:

Join a cutting-edge team working on next-generation voice processing technology for the Sky Glass TV. This project focuses on enhancing the user experience by processing customer voice commands through multiple integrated microphones, leveraging Digital Signal Processing (DSP) to remove background noise and isolate user commands accurately and in real time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and test audio DSP algorithms for real-time voice command processing.

  • Work with multi-microphone input systems to isolate and enhance voice signals.

  • Implement advanced DSP techniques including:

    • Noise Reduction

    • Far-field Voice Processing

    • Acoustic Beamforming

    • Blind Source Separation

  • Integrate machine learning models (using TensorFlow or PyTorch) to improve speech recognition and signal clarity.

  • Optimize algorithms for real-time audio processing to ensure minimal latency.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to validate and test DSP features on embedded platforms.

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in Audio DSP algorithm development.

  • Solid hands-on experience with Machine Learning frameworks: TensorFlow or PyTorch.

  • Strong programming skills in C, Python, and MATLAB.

  • Experience with real-time audio processing software.

  • Demonstrated expertise in:

    • Noise reduction in complex acoustic environments.

    • Far-field voice processing technologies.

    • Acoustic beamforming for directionally isolating voice signals.

    • Blind source separation techniques.

  • Familiarity with testing and validating DSP algorithms in practical environments.

Preferred Attributes:

  • Prior work with consumer electronics or smart TV platforms.

  • Knowledge of embedded systems or low-level audio frameworks.

  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills in DSP environments.
