Role: FullStack Developer (React / Python / Google Cloud Platform)
Location: Remote
Duration: 6-month contract to hire
Job Description:
Project Details

  • Application Type: Web-based application with both frontend and backend components.
  • Core Functionality:
    • Backend powered by a heavy AI engine that aggregates data from 10+ different systems.
    • Consolidates, organizes, and presents data through a user-friendly UI.
  • Primary Use Case:
    • Internal users (view-only access) use the tool to review medical claims that were rejected.
    • Traditionally, this process required manual review of claims and reference materials.
    • The tool automates data collection from multiple systems, reducing manual effort significantly.
  • Current Status:
    • MVP launched into production with 800+ internal users.
    • Currently supports Medicare line of business; plans to expand to Commercial and Medicaid.
  • Transition:
    • Product is moving from the original development team to a new team for ongoing enhancements.
  • CI/CD Migration:
    • Transitioning from Jenkins to GitHub Actions for build and deployment automation.

Tech stack: TypeScript, React, Python, REST, Fast API's, Java, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Google Cloud Platform, GKE, Big Query, Big Table, VertexAI, ArgoCD
Responsibilities

  • Full-Stack Development:
    • Must handle both frontend and backend tasks (not just one side).
  • Frontend Focus Initially:
    • Transition UI work from the current team.
    • After UI transition, pick up user stories and continue feature development.
  • Backend Work:
    • Enhance and maintain AI-driven backend that integrates with multiple systems.
  • CI/CD & DevOps:
    • Assist in migration from Jenkins to GitHub Actions.
  • Collaboration:
    • Work closely with internal stakeholders to support expansion into new lines of business.

Qualifications - Looking for Senior-level and high Mid-level

  • Core Skills:
    • Frontend: React, TypeScript
    • Backend: Python, FastAPI
  • Cloud & Data:
    • Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform), GKE, BigQuery (highly preferred)
  • DevOps:
    • Jenkins and GitHub Actions
  • Additional Nice-to-Have:
    • VertexAI experience
    • Healthcare/Medical Claims
