Job Details

Position: SAP Program Advisor (FICO Focus)

We are seeking a highly experienced SAP expert with deep functional knowledge in SAP FICO and a strong background in IT implementation projects. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in SAP Accounting/Finance and serve as a strategic liaison between IT delivery teams and business stakeholders across Finance, Supply Chain, and Plant Maintenance functions.

This individual will play a critical role in driving project success, removing roadblocks, streamlining processes, and ensuring alignment between technical delivery and business goals. Exceptional project management, organizational, and executive communication skills are essential. The ability to confidently present to and collaborate with C-level executives is a must.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a bridge between SAP IT delivery and business operations, ensuring effective collaboration and project alignment.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders in Finance, Supply Chain, and Plant Maintenance to define and optimize processes.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, escalating and resolving issues as needed to maintain project momentum.
  • Participate in and contribute to a wide range of meetings, spanning both technical and business domains.
  • Support SDLC governance and controls to ensure quality and compliance throughout project lifecycle.
  • Deliver presentations and updates to executive leadership and stakeholders, including C-level and Board-level audiences.

Qualifications:

  • 15 20 years of professional experience, with a strong focus on SAP and IT project delivery.
  • Proven experience in SAP implementation projects, particularly in a functional role (FICO).
  • Deep expertise in SAP Accounting/Finance modules.
  • Demonstrated ability to act as a business advocate within an IT organization.
  • Experience in program and project management, with a structured and proactive approach.
  • Strong track record of executive-level communication and stakeholder management.
  • Ability to anticipate and manage risks and issues, stepping in to triage and resolve where needed.
  • Familiarity with SDLC processes, governance, and controls.
  • Mining industry experience is highly desirable.
