RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in San Antonio, TX that is seeking a Product Owner.

What You'll Do:
As a Business Product Owner/Analyst, you'll serve as a key connector between business stakeholders and technical teams. You'll be responsible for eliciting, analyzing, documenting, and refining business needs to build smart, scalable solutions across diverse initiatives. Whether it's Agile, Waterfall, or a hybrid approach, you'll guide cross-functional teams with clarity and confidence.
Duties also include:
* Translate business strategies and customer needs into actionable roadmaps and detailed requirements
* Prioritize features, enhancements, and fixes based on business value, user impact, and technical feasibility
* Act as a decision-maker and day-to-day liaison for the execution team, keeping everyone aligned with business goals
* Lead and manage collaboration across UX designers, developers, testers, and analysts to deliver quality outcomes
* Serve as a subject matter expert within a specific business or technical domain
* Validate deliverables, ensuring all acceptance criteria are met
* Identify and mitigate risks, flag roadblocks, and surface innovative solutions
* Prepare the business for change with clear metrics, communication plans, and adoption strategies
* Provide mentorship to less experienced Product Owners and team members
REQUIREMENTS:
* Strong understanding of both customer needs and broader business vision/strategy
* Experience working in Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project environments
* Proven ability to influence stakeholders, manage priorities, and drive decision-making
* Exceptional communication skills and a knack for translating complex ideas into clear, executable plans
* Familiarity with technical tools, platforms, or vendor software
* Comfort working across infrastructure, customer-facing, and internal-facing technologies
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
