Our client is a Fortune 500 financial and payments technology company, and leads the industry in innovation, scale and service.
They are now looking to add to the their team and are looking to hire a "Privacy Analyst . This role will be 100% Remote.
Summary:
In this role, you will work closely with business and technology teams across client to enable the completion of essential privacy compliance processes and documentation. You may also be asked to communicate with customers, vendors, and other stakeholders. The position is part of a collegial team of attorneys and other privacy professionals that form the client Privacy Office.
Responsibilities
- Under the direction of a privacy attorney, you will be involved in the review of new projects, guiding project teams through the creation of privacy impact assessments (PIAs), data protection impact assessments (DPIAs) and other privacy-related review documentation.
- You will support the review of implementation plans and remediation activities for product and technology teams to help the Company ensure privacy guidance is appropriately carried out in product design and development.
- You will assist business stakeholders with common privacy-related inquiries including inquiries about record retention, privacy notice deployment and cookie compliance.
- You will support data inventory work led by other members of the Privacy Office team.
- You will create reports and dashboards to enable review of Privacy Office metrics.
- You will support training and development activities led by other members of the Privacy Office team to enable greater privacy awareness across the Company.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Solid understanding of data privacy regulations such as GDPR and CCPA
- Highly organized with effective written communications skills including technical writing
- Ability to build internal & external working relationships; effective working independently and in a team/virtual environment
- Ability to work collaboratively with business partners across levels and show leadership in cross-functional teams
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Experience in the payments industry or financial services industry
- CIPP/US or CIPP/E certification
Professional Qualifications:
- Bachelors' degree.
- 1-year professional experience in a role involving privacy, or compliance, preferably within a technology setting.
