The Headquarters Department of the Army (HQDA), Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff, G9 (ODCS, G9), Enterprise Architecture (EA) - Specialized Design and Compliance Support Services requires reliable and timely Information Technology (IT) services to support ODCS, G-9 directorates and the Army-wide installations enterprise. With a broad depth of capabilities that spans across the PWS task areas, Five Rivers Analytics, LLC (FRA) is a capable and technically qualified, mission-focused small business, honored to be considered for this requirement. FRA is a trusted and proven 8(a) small business (SB) through its current IT support to multiple US Army organizations.

Five Rivers Analytics will look to staff the new Data position with professionals skilled in industry best practices, data governance and strategy, data products, and data lifecycle management. These professionals will understand the right way to do things but have the knowledge and experience of real-world application - meaning the ability to document and implement but knowing when to adjust and shift based on the Army's needs and current maturity levels. Ideal candidates would have experience researching and working with Data Stewards and system owners to document current data methodologies in order to understand how industry best practices can be leveraged or implemented to improve data maturity. These positions will complement and enhance the work of our current Data Modeler.

Responsibilities

  • Leverage government and industry data standards to analyze the Army G-9's data quality and maturity level.
  • From the assessment and documented baseline, identify remediation plans for each system, data product, or initiative to track progress towards standardization leading to better accessibility and interoperability, i.e., better quality data.
  • Document processes and procedures as work instructions.
  • Prepare/Create work deliverables to include data quality assessment reports, data remediation plans, and data visualization and analysis outputs.
  • Other duties as required and assigned.

This position is currently hybrid and requires that you reside within commuting distance of Arlington, Virginia.

Qualifications

  • Minimum five (5) years of experience in data quality management and data profiling, with knowledge of government data standards and familiarity with DAMA's Data Management Body of Knowledge (DMBoK).
  • Ability to work independently with attention to detail.
  • Experience with data lineage, data products, and data security.
  • Experience creating presentations for leadership briefing.
  • Have a general understanding of reporting and visualization tools (e.g.,Tableau, Power BI, etc.).
  • Experience creating deliverables to include data quality assessment reports, data remediation plans, and data visualization and analysis outputs.
  • Obtain a Public Trust Clearance.

Desired Qualifications:
  • Currently holds an active Public Trust or higher clearance.
