Job Details

Join us as a Senior IT Project Manager, where you'll lead the charge in implementing a cutting-edge grid Distributed Energy Resource Management System (DERMS) solution. This dynamic role offers the opportunity to manage complex software projects, ensuring timely and budget-friendly delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Lead project planning efforts, defining deliverables and establishing key milestones.
  • Manage comprehensive project reports, timelines, budgets, and documentation.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, including employees, contractors, and vendors.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, ensuring smooth project execution.
  • Communicate project status and priorities clearly to stakeholders and team members.
  • Drive project activities through all phases, adhering to governance standards.

Skills

  • Extensive project management experience, particularly with budgets of $5 million or more.
  • Proven track record in large-scale software implementations.
  • Strong skills in managing requirements, design, implementation, testing, and deployment.
  • Exceptional vendor management abilities, including financial control and commitment tracking.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with utility operations and regulations.
  • Familiarity with DERMS systems and methodologies.
  • Proficiency in both Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies.
