Define and own the front-end architecture and standards for enterprise-scale BFSI platforms.
Lead technical decisions across Angular, React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3 based on application needs.
Create modular, reusable, and performant UI components, ensuring maintainability and scalability.
User Experience & Research
Translate business goals and user needs into intuitive and responsive UI/UX experiences.
Collaborate with UX designers and product owners to produce journey maps, wireframes, and interactive prototypes.
Drive user research, A/B testing, and feedback analysis to guide customer-centric design decisions.
Secure Frontend Development
Implement front-end security best practices to prevent XSS, CSRF, SQL Injection, and session hijacking attacks.
Ensure compliance with OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities and lead secure coding training for the UI team.
Advocate for HTTPS, secure cookie usage, CSP headers, and proper form validation and sanitization.
Deliverables & Documentation
Provide detailed design artifacts, component libraries, and interaction guidelines.
Create and maintain architecture documents, front-end coding standards, and deployment checklists.
Review PRs, enforce code quality gates, and contribute to CI/CD setup for UI components.
Collaboration & Strategy
Partner with back-end architects to ensure seamless integration via REST/GraphQL APIs.
Stay updated with industry trends in fintech UI frameworks, security compliance, and performance optimization.
Support accessibility (WCAG 2.1), localization/internationalization (i18n), and cross-browser compatibility.
Required Qualifications:
8+ years of front-end development experience; 2+ years in a front-end architecture or leadership role.
Expertise in React, Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript ES6+, HTML5, and CSS3 (SASS/LESS).
Deep knowledge of front-end security standards including OWASP, CSP, JWT handling, and secure cookies.
Experience in financial applications or BFSI platforms (capital markets, underwriting, or trading systems preferred).
Familiarity with Git, CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions), and testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress, Jasmine).
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with high-stakes applications in the U.S. financial ecosystem (e.g., debt markets, SEC-compliant platforms).
Working knowledge of design systems like Material Design, Bootstrap, or custom component libraries.
Previous experience with frontend performance tuning (Lighthouse, Webpack optimizations).
Certifications in secure coding practices, front-end frameworks, or UX design.
