Data Governance Analyst

Role Overview:

The ideal candidates will have hands-on experience implementing governance processes using Collibra and Snowflake, and a strong background in operationalizing data governance standards in federated environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Implementation Plan Execution

• Execute milestones and deliverables as per the approved governance implementation roadmap.
• Develop operational procedures, workflows, and execution documentation.
• Establish cross-domain coordination and escalation processes.

Process and Template Creation

• Build standardized templates for data stewardship across governance pillars.
• Create workflows for term approval, metadata governance, and data quality management.
• Develop domain-specific playbooks and governance maturity assessment tools.

Operational Enablement

• Design and deliver training materials and certification programs for data stewards.
• Create metrics frameworks and dashboards for governance performance tracking.
• Build stakeholder engagement and communication templates.

Execution and Adoption Support

• Roll out governance framework and support stakeholder engagement strategies.
• Establish governance champion networks and feedback collection mechanisms.

Specific Responsibilities:

• Partner with business SMEs to integrate governance standards into existing workflows.
• Create comprehensive documentation for all Data Management & Governance pillars.
• Deliver training and mentoring programs aligned with the implementation curriculum.
• Implement standardized data requirements and cross-domain coordination processes.
• Develop automation workflows and compliance monitoring procedures.

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience executing data governance implementation plans.
• Hands-on experience with Collibra for governance workflows and metadata management.
• Familiarity with Snowflake as a data platform, including governance and access control features.
• Strong communication and presentation skills for diverse audiences.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.
• Experience in federated or decentralized governance environments.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience configuring and customizing governance tools (e.g., Collibra) based on technical specifications.
• Knowledge of governance automation and workflow orchestration.
• Familiarity with audit and compliance requirements in data governance contexts.
