Location Requirement: POSTING IS FOR WISCONSIN BASED CANDIDATES ONLY (OR THOSE WILLING TO RELOCATE TO WISCONSIN WITHIN 30 DAYS OF THE START DATE). ALL WORK MUST BE DONE IN WISCONSIN
Candidate MUST be a WI resident or willing to relocate to WI prior to starting the role at their own expense. Local candidates preferred. This position is currently remote. However, position status is subject to change. (90% remote 10% onsite as needed) Onsite work is not likely, but candidate should be prepared to come onsite if required. Part time (25 hours per week) can be flexible with 5 hours per day or 3 full days per week, etc.
This position manages all aspects of major comprehensive information technology projects for CWW, W-
2 and related programs on behalf of the Employment Program Business Area (EPBA). This includes
ensuring that all phases of the software development life cycle are completed according to the needs of
the business area, and all other project management responsibilities including documenting decision
making, briefing bureau, division, and department management on the status of projects, resolving
conflicts between project partners, communicating with stakeholders on complex topics, and post-
implementation tasks.
Qualification
- Leads automation activities, including but not limited to analyzing IT business systems; requirements gathering, writing technical documents such as operational memos and help text, metrics, checklists, user guides and manuals
- Lead and perform user acceptance testing, scenario creation and defect identification and tracking.
- Evaluates system development procedures used to verify that programs function according to user requirements and conform to establishment guidelines
- Acts as a liaison between business/program areas and IT developers and IT project managers.
- Facilitates meetings relating to IT/IS maintenance, enhancements or projects as well as participate in such
meetings as a subject matter expert on behalf of the business/program area - Experience with one or more of the following State of Wisconsin Systems. CARES Worker Web (CWW), CARES
Mainframe, ACCESS, MyACCESS, MMIS, Wisconsin Work Programs (WWP), or BRITS - Recommends program improvements or corrections to programmers/developers in BITS. Identifies differences standards
Required Skills:
- Analyzing IT business systems and doing requirements gathering and writing. (8+ years)

- Workgroup Facilitation Lead for system projects (8+ years)
