Job Summary
The Sales and Marketing Administrator is responsible for offering administrative support to the sales and marketing teams, handling daily tasks such as data entry, lead generation, campaign coordination, customer communication, and maintaining CRM systems. This role plays a key part in driving sales and marketing success by ensuring efficient operations and accurate data management. This role is part of the Sales Department and reports directly to the Executive VP of Sales and Marketing.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Sales
- Enter customer orders, verify details, and check availability to ensure
- timely delivery and project kick off
- Maintain and update customer and account information, ensuring
- accurate and current records for all contacts.
- Handle customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat, addressing
- concerns
- Generate and track sales reports, focusing on key metrics such as
- weekly meeting, pipeline contribution, lead conversion and campaign
reporting - Assist sales representatives by scheduling appointments, preparing presentations, and gathering necessary
- customer data.
- Prepare proposals and PowerPoint presentations for potential clients, ensuring clear and compelling content.
- Input sales data into CRM systems, ensuring records are accurate and up-to-date.
Marketing
- Oversee the company website, making updates and ensuring its functionality aligns with current needs.
- Research, order, track, and manage promotional items for internal and external events ensuring adequate inventory
- levels.
- Manage daily, weekly, and monthly job description postings to attract potential candidates.
- Proofread and edit official marketing materials to maintain consistency and professionalism.
- Support event planning by handling administrative tasks, including coordinating hotel and venue arrangements,
- managing travel logistics and overseeing tradeshow details.
- Other duties as assigned.
Position Details, Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Standard office hours for this role are Monday Friday, 8:00am 5:00pm local time zone.
- This is a full-time, non-exempt role.
- This is a remote role with eligibility to work from approved states in the United States.
- Travel for this role is minimal.
- Ability to sit for extended periods and use a computer and keyboard for long durations. Frequent typing and use of
- a mouse, with fine motor skills required for accurate data entry and navigation. Must be able to maintain good posture and adjust seating and workstation to minimize physical strain.
Education, Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor s degree required, marketing, communications, business administration, or related field is preferred.
- Proven experience working in sales and/or marketing.
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficiency in Salesforce.com or similar CRM software.
- Experience in marketing automation tools preferred
- Ability to understand and analyze sales performance metrics.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
