Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Java Middleware Architect to lead the design and development of scalable backend systems and middleware platforms. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in API architecture, microservices, and team leadership, with a strong preference for telecom domain experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Architect and develop robust backend systems using Java and Node.js
  • Design, build, and manage RESTful APIs and API platforms
  • Lead middleware integration and ensure seamless communication across services
  • Drive the development of microservices-based architectures
  • Manage and mentor a platform engineering team, including offshore collaboration
  • Investigate technical challenges and propose effective solutions
  • Ensure secure authentication and authorization using OAuth protocols
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, QA, and DevOps teams

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Backend Architect in enterprise-grade systems
  • Strong hands-on expertise in Java, Node.js, and Express
  • Deep understanding of RESTful API design and operations
  • Solid background in middleware technologies; telecom experience is a plus
  • Experience with microservices architecture and containerized environments
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to lead and coordinate with offshore teams
  • Familiarity with OAuth and other security protocols

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the telecom domain
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform)
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
