Micron Idaho Semiconductor Manufacturing (Triton) LLC
Implement and support PSM initiatives for high-volume manufacturing (HVM). Lead risk analysis or process hazard identification techniques for new fabrication tools, supporting systems, and facilities systems conveying hazardous chemicals. Collaborate with site EHS, Facility, and Fab Engineers to define and implement process safety solutions and strategies for controlling process hazards associated with chemistries, tools, and facilities systems. Supervise changes to procedures, equipment or processes for potential safety impacts and need for mitigation, escalation or further analysis. Support engineering teams through process safety audits and detailed reviews of chemical and tool safety for new or changed processes, chemicals, or equipment. Serve as subject matter expert (SME) during incident investigations involving hazardous substances. Manage process safety metrics and drive closure to gaps in process safety metrics/KPI performance. Support implementation of process safety improvements to process systems and equipment identified by sites and review process safety impacts from new technology transfer. Assist and manage process safety elements for compliance with OSHA PSM regulations. Work with engineering teams to build and implement solutions for mitigating or controlling identified hazards and risks. Promote a Safe and Compliant Workplace.
Employer will accept a Master's degree in Engineering, Process Safety Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field and 5 years of experience in the job offered or in a Process Safety Engineer-related occupation.
Position requires:
1.Semiconductor process safety engineering and metrics;
2.PSM compliance regulations and risk management techniques;
3.Applying risk analysis and hazard identification techniques for semiconductor fabrication processes;
4.Engineering standards and best practices applicable to semiconductor set-ups and supporting equipment;
5.Incident investigation techniques;
6.Conducting process safety audits;
7.Developing and implementing risk-based process safety frameworks and elements.
Position also requires:
1.Board Certified Safety Professional or equivalent certification;
2.Safety Auditor Certification or accreditation.
