Finance Lead

Job Position : Finance Lead (F&O)
Job Location : San Diego, CA (Onsite)

Job Description :

• Lead the implementation, configuration, and support of Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations modules: General Ledger, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Tax, Fixed Assets, Cash & Bank, Reporting, and Landing Cost.
• Partner with business stakeholders to translate finance requirements into system configurations that align with industry best practices.
• Design and implement statutory tax and compliance frameworks within D365 to meet US and international reporting requirements.
• Configure and manage financial reporting tools (Financial Reporter, Power BI integrations, management reporting packs).
• Own and optimize the Landing Cost module to capture duties, freight, insurance, tariffs, and overhead allocations for accurate landed cost calculation.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes with efficient financial consolidation and reporting.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Retail Operations, and IT to ensure finance processes integrate seamlessly across business functions.
• Provide training, documentation, and ongoing support to finance users.
• Work closely with Microsoft partners/consultants during implementation and upgrades.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Information Systems (CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred).
• 7+ years of finance ERP experience, with at least 3 years in Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O).
• Strong hands-on experience configuring Core Financials, Tax, Reporting, and Landing Cost modules in D365.
• Solid understanding of import/export processes, customs duties, freight, and supply chain cost accounting.
• Proven ability to deliver financial reporting and compliance solutions in a global business environment.
• Excellent stakeholder management, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Must be based in the United States with knowledge of US GAAP and tax requirements.
