ECS is seeking a Radar Electrical Engineer Intern to work in our Chantilly, VA office.

ECS is seeking a Radar Electrical Engineer Intern to work in our Chantilly, VA office.
The Radar Electrical Engineer Intern will be responsible for the following:
- Design analog and digital circuits.
- Test and troubleshoot electronic assemblies and components.
- Participate in small multi-discipline teams to integrate and perform qualification tests on products.
- Provide engineering support and hands-on troubleshooting for fielded products.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and identify modifications needed in existing systems to meet changing user requirements.
- Produce test and qualification procedures and technical documentation including operations manuals, user guides, etc.
- Provide technical expertise and recommendations to support and enhance existing systems and new development projects.
- Occasional domestic travel
Required Skills
- Capable of designing schematics and PCBs.
- Understanding of working in a laboratory environment and troubleshooting techniques.
- Performing analyses to derive system, subsystem and component-level specifications from customer requirements.
- Developing electronic test and verification procedures and analyzing test results against customer-requirements.
- Participation in design reviews with both internal and external project stakeholders.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Professional and detail-oriented work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and as a team member.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a US Government DoD Security Clearance.
Desired Skills
- Experience in electronic circuit analysis and design applications such as MATLAB, Mentor Graphics PADS, PSPICE, AutoCAD, Keysight Genesys or ADS, ModelSim, ISE, etc.
- Software Programming Languages: Python, C/C++
- Operating Systems: Windows, Linux
- Experience or education in radio frequency circuit design and analysis, and/or signal processing.
