Job Title: Technical Product Manager

Location: Overland Park, KS/Atlanta, GA/Frisco, TX

We are looking for a Technical Product Owner to lead the replat forming of a mission-critical mobile application to a modern, cloud-native architecture. The ideal candidate will bring a strong technical background in cloud technologies, mobile platforms (iOS/Android), and agile delivery. You will work closely with engineering, design, and business stakeholders to define, prioritize, and deliver a robust and scalable solution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary product owner for the mobile replat forming initiative, bridging technical and business teams.
  • Define and own the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business objectives, customer needs, and technical strategy.
  • Collaborate with architects and engineering leads to design a cloud-native mobile architecture leveraging modern frameworks and services.
  • Drive sprint planning, grooming, and retrospectives as part of an Agile delivery process.
  • Partner with UI/UX teams to ensure the app delivers a seamless and modern user experience.
  • Communicate progress, risks, and trade-offs clearly to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Define and track KPIs for product performance, scalability, and cloud cost optimization.
  • Ensure quality through collaboration with QA, DevOps, and Security teams during development and deployment phases.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner or Technical Product Manager.
  • Demonstrated experience in mobile application development or replat forming (iOS and/or Android).
  • Strong understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Familiarity with cloud-native services including containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), serverless computing, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Ability to read technical documentation and effectively communicate with engineering teams.
  • Deep understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills with a customer-centric mindset.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience migrating monolithic apps to microservices or cloud-native architectures.
  • Technical certifications in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Prior experience in industries such as fintech, telecom, or healthcare is a plus.
  • Familiarity with API-first development and mobile backend-as-a-service (MBaaS) solutions.
