Job Description
Lockheed Martin is seeking an Integration, Test, and Evaluation (IT&E) Engineer to lead the development, integration, build, and troubleshooting efforts for a Instrumented Measurement Vehicle (IMV) as part of a large program. Responsibilities include:
Develop and execute Sub-System/System Level Integration Plans and Procedures
Coordinate builds with Production Planning and Control (PP&C), quality, manufacturing, and lab technicians
Perform Missile-in-a-Box (MIB) Acceptance Test Procedures (ATPs) and generate test reports
Perform test readiness preparation, Test Readiness Reviews (TRRs), and Pre-Ship Readiness Reviews (PSRRs)
Perform MIB qualification testing and generate test reports
Coordinate with platform integration group for any field issues encountered during ground and flight test events
Plan all efforts via an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and Earned Value Management (EVM)
Basic Qualifications
Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 2 years of professional experience; or no experience required with a related Masters degree. Considered experienced, but still a learner.
Verify that integrated HW and SW can achieve the overall physical, functional and performance objectives.
Manage security issues including protection of classified hardware and software, and software loading requirements.
Secret Clearance with 5 year investigation.
Desired skills
A basic experience / knowledge of software testing and programming.
Ability to utilize electrical and mechanical drawings to troubleshoot a system.
Design a system verification process that is performed to well-constructed I&T Plans derived from DOORS requirements.
Assure that system built-in performance has been achieved from the lowest level modules to the final assembled system.
Demonstrate the ability to operate comfortably with software engineers, designers, and production personnel.
Demonstrate the ability to troubleshoot problems and coordinate other integration participants for platform integration program efficiency.
Deliver effective Customer presentations that include performance results, schedule status, and corrective action details.
Demonstrate awareness of test equipment management including function, calibration and security requirements.
Verify that test data is recorded and cataloged appropriately.
Generate concise but thorough test reports purpose-built for use in functional configuration audits and related V&V events.

For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
