Description/Objectives
The Amentum Systems Avionics Integration Team is seeking an Imagery Systems Engineer to support NASA's Moon to Mars (M2M) Program and the customer's M2M Imagery Lead.
Systems Engineering support for this task includes but not limited to the following:
Qualifications:
A degree in Physics, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related field is required. Degree from an ABET-accredited university is preferred. Typically, educational requirements are the equivalent of a Ph.D. with a minimum 19 years of experience; Masters with at least 23 years of experience, or a BS with at least 25 years of experience.

Essential Functions
Work Environment:
Office environment. Requires ability to provide clear, concise, accurate and timely communication, both verbally and in writing (100%). Requires ability to interact professionally with co-workers, management, and client (100%). Travel in support is expected at about 10% as part of the successful candidate duties. Requires ability to work at a computer for long periods of time(100%).
Physical Requirements:
Requires sitting for extended periods of time in meetings with peers, management, and with our client at NASA facilities to discuss technical issues (10%). Also, requires sitting for extended periods of time at a desk to write reports and perform engineering tasks (80%). Requires ability to use stairs or elevators for access between floors and multiple buildings at NASA and our facilities (10%).
Equipment and Machines:
Requires ability to operate a personal computer, a telephone, fax machine, copier, calculator, and other general office equipment (100%).
Attendance:
Normal workday 7:30 - 4:30, Monday thru Friday. Minimal overtime may be required (10%) to meet schedule milestones and to support technical demands of the job. Regular attendance is a necessity, and adequate arrangements for delegating duties during absences are required.
Other Essential Functions:
The ability to work independently with minimal supervision, and to make rational decisions, and to exercise good judgment is essential (100%). Grooming and dress must be appropriate for the position and must not impose a safety risk/hazard to the employee or others.
Proof of U.S. Citizenship is required.

Description/Objectives
The Amentum Systems Avionics Integration Team is seeking an Imagery Systems Engineer to support NASA's Moon to Mars (M2M) Program and the customer's M2M Imagery Lead.
Systems Engineering support for this task includes but not limited to the following:
- Review and provide input to all products that are out for change review related M2M imagery content and requirements.
- Engage with Imagery Teams across Centers and M2M Programs to ensure that the Imagery Community is properly represented.
- Track all imagery related requirements and DVOs across the architecture similar to the imagery documentation used by SLS.
- Become the Technical Point of Contact for the Level 1 M2M imagery requirements.
- Support the development of the M2M Baseline, Cross Program Engineering Imagery Requirements Gap Assessment and Requirement Verifications documentation.
- Trade studies, requirement definition, risk identification and mitigation, and interface definition.
- Development of tests and analysis in support of M2M imagery systems for the M2M Systems Engineering, Integration and Verification.
- Investigations of advanced imaging systems and the design, development, and test of video and imaging systems for the M2M Program.
- Provide research, design, development, implementation and test of analog and digital imaging systems, data recording, high-speed imaging, lighting, and software for both M2M elements and science camera systems.
- Maintain support for the ability to simulate camera field of view (FOV) as seen from program CAD models.
- Support M2M requirement verification analysis by ensuring the cameras integrated on the M2M elements will provide the expected FOVs and that specific vehicle markings can be viewed.
