JOB TITLE: Oracle Applications DBA
LOCATION: Remote

Position Overview:
This role will support administration and migration of Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) R12.2.x environments and Oracle 19c databases, with a heavy focus on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) work. The candidate should have hands-on experience with both EBS and OCI, and ideally some exposure to federal customer environments such as USMC.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer Oracle EBS R12.2.x and Oracle 19c databases in both on-prem and OCI environments
• Lead EBS Lift & Shift migrations to OCI
• Perform patching, backups, cloning, DR testing, and tuning activities
• Support workflow, concurrent processing, and WebLogic services
• Interface with project teams and customers on deployment and troubleshooting
• Document configurations and deliver knowledge transfer as needed

Required Qualifications:

• U.S. Citizenship (federal contract requirement)
• 7+ years as an Oracle Apps DBA with direct experience on EBS R12.2.x
• Strong Oracle 19c experience (RAC, Data Guard, performance tuning)
• Hands-on OCI experience (provisioning, IAM, networking, automation)
• Strong scripting ability (Shell, Python)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous work supporting DoD or USMC contracts
• OCI Architect or other Oracle certifications
• Experience with Oracle Lift Services
• Security+ or eligibility to obtain clearance
