Job Details

We re seeking a skilled Korean Linguist to help develop language components for voice-enabled technologies and AI products. This role blends linguistic expertise with cutting-edge technology, involving data analysis, LLM prompt engineering, localization, and quality evaluation.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide expertise in Korean syntax, semantics, pragmatics, and sociolinguistics

  • Collaborate on data collection, curation, translation, localization, and annotation

  • Evaluate and curate datasets for machine learning models using LLM solutions

  • Assess model and data quality

  • Perform prompt engineering and develop consistent linguistic analyses

Required Qualifications:

  • Master s degree in Linguistics, Computational Linguistics, Speech Science, or related field (Bachelor s + 2 years of relevant experience accepted)

  • Native or near-native Korean fluency (written & spoken) plus fluency in at least one more language

  • Awareness of Indian languages and their cultural nuances is a plus

  • Knowledge of syntax, semantics, pragmatics, sociolinguistics, corpus linguistics

  • Experience working with speech and text data in multiple languages

  • Familiarity with Large Language Models (LLMs), prompt engineering, and their applications

  • Experience with SQL, RegEx, spreadsheets, R, Unix, or similar tools

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PhD in Linguistics, Computational Linguistics, or related field

  • Proficiency in Python

  • Experience with ML frameworks, NLP libraries, and tools
