Job Description:
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Route/Switch Engineer to join their team. This role involves providing operational support and engineering expertise in Cisco R/S (BGP/ISIS), SDA, and Wireless technologies. The successful candidate will be instrumental in the deployment and optimization of Cisco DNA Center as a central management and automation solution within a complex network environment. This position requires strong technical leadership and the ability to work closely with senior leadership and C-Suite executives within the client organization.

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Route/Switch Engineer to join their team. This role involves providing operational support and engineering expertise in Cisco R/S (BGP/ISIS), SDA, and Wireless technologies. The successful candidate will be instrumental in the deployment and optimization of Cisco DNA Center as a central management and automation solution within a complex network environment. Responsibilities:
- Provide both proactive and reactive Route & Switch Engineering Support to enhance client capabilities.
- Support the deployment of Cisco DNA Center (DNAC) as a management and automation platform across existing and new network infrastructures.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to ensure successful deployment and optimization of network management technologies.
- Offer consulting services to the client, including enterprise network planning, design, and implementation support.
- Maintain and enhance operational support for SDA and Wireless infrastructures, ensuring integration with core R/S systems.
- Guide the integration of ISE within the client s network to support Cisco Optimization of Route Switch Technologies.
- Provide technical guidance and leadership in complex network environments, ensuring alignment with client s operational values and business needs.
- Work within the client s headquarters, interacting effectively within a corporate environment and with C-Suite executives.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in Route/Switch network engineering and operational support.
- Strong understanding and hands-on experience with Cisco DNAC and SDA technologies.
- Experience in enterprise network planning, design, and implementation.
- Excellent technical leadership and communication skills, capable of working with senior management and executive teams.
- Cisco certifications, such as Cisco CCIE R&S, are highly desirable.
- Ability to provide both proactive and reactive support in a complex networking environment.
- Comfortable working in a corporate headquarters environment and interacting with C-Suite level executives.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
