Location: Dallas, TX (Hybrid or On-site)
Duration: 12 months

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Project Manager to lead and coordinate security initiatives across enterprise environments. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in cybersecurity frameworks, risk management, and compliance standards (e.g., NIST, ISO, HIPAA, or PCI-DSS), along with proven experience managing cross-functional technical teams. This role requires strong leadership, planning, and stakeholder engagement capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, execute, and manage cybersecurity projects, including vulnerability assessments, incident response enhancements, IAM implementations, and GRC initiatives.
• Coordinate with InfoSec, IT, compliance, and third-party vendors to ensure alignment and secure delivery of project goals.
• Manage risk identification, tracking, and mitigation plans across project lifecycles.
• Track progress against schedules, manage budgets, and report status to senior leadership.
• Ensure all projects comply with internal policies and external regulatory requirements (e.g., HIPAA, SOX, NIST, ISO 27001).

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of project management experience, with 3+ years specifically in cybersecurity projects.
• Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent cybersecurity initiatives in large enterprise environments.
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, frameworks, and regulations (NIST, ISO, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, etc.).
• PMP, CSM, or equivalent project management certification.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lead matrixed teams and manage stakeholder expectations.
