As a Solution Architect, you will:

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced Solution Architect with deep expertise in AWS cloud services, EKS, and mobile architecture, ideally within the automotive industry. This role will lead the design and delivery of scalable, secure, and connected vehicle solutions across cloud-native platforms, mobile ecosystems, and edge integrations. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience with serverless architectures, containerization, and mobile app frameworks, along with a strong understanding of automotive-grade systems and compliance.

Core Responsibilities

• Cloud Architecture (AWS)
• Architect and implement cloud-native solutions using AWS services: Lambda, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, IAM, CloudWatch, Step Functions, SNS/SQS.
• Design event-driven and serverless architectures for connected vehicle platforms and telematics data ingestion.
• Ensure multi-region, fault-tolerant, and auto-scaling infrastructure aligned with automotive SLAs and compliance.

Containerization & EKS

• Lead design of microservices and containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS).
• Migrate legacy workloads to serverless or container-based platforms, optimizing for performance and cost.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines with GitLab, Jenkins, and Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and deployment.

Mobile Architecture

• Architect and support iOS and Android applications using Objective-C, Swift, Xamarin, and React Native.
• Collaborate with UX/UI teams using Figma and Bravo Studio to translate design into functional mobile experiences.
• Integrate mobile apps with cloud APIs, vehicle data services, and authentication flows (OAuth2, JWT).

Automotive Domain Expertise

• Design solutions for connected vehicle platforms, OTA updates, diagnostics, and infotainment systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (vehicle engineering, embedded systems, cybersecurity) to align cloud/mobile architecture with vehicle platforms.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 26262, AUTOSAR, and GDPR where applicable.

Security & Compliance

• Implement secure API design, TLS/mTLS, IAM policies, and role-based access control (RBAC).
• Integrate Secrets Manager, KMS, and VPC security controls for sensitive data and credentials.
• Conduct threat modeling, penetration testing coordination, and secure code reviews.

Required Skills & Experience

• 10+ years in software architecture, with at least 3+ years in automotive or mobility platforms.
• Expert-level proficiency in AWS (5/5), including serverless and cloud-native design patterns.
• Strong experience with EKS, Docker, and Kubernetes (5/5), with recent focus on serverless migration.
• Solid background in mobile architecture (4/5), including native and cross-platform frameworks.
• Proficiency in Java, Python, and mobile SDKs.
• Familiarity with vehicle data protocols, CAN bus, MQTT, and edge-to-cloud communication.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect, CKA, Certified Mobile Architect.
• Experience with connected car platforms, EV charging networks, or mobility-as-a-service (MaaS).
• Exposure to real-time analytics

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:

Pay Range*: $80 - $90per hour

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
