Job Title: Business Analyst III
Duration: 12 months - with potential to extend
Location: Fremont, CA, 94555
Summary:

  • Client s IT Supply Chain is responsible for fulfilling all internal end user IT needs. We build integrated, scalable, and robust processes and systems to manage planning & inventory life cycle. We are currently looking for an experienced individual to support in day-to-day tooling and process operations, as well as Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) support.

Must-Have Skills:

  • EDI Operation Support: Experience in Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) with a minimum of 5 years in Supply Chain, specifically in EDI onboarding and maintenance.
  • Data Analysis: Ability to analyze data using dashboards and report to business stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills to identify and resolve EDI tooling issues.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Process Flow Visualization: Proficiency in process flow visualization tools like LucidChart or Visio, Google Sheets/Slides.
  • Vendor Management: Experience in managing vendors, including communication and troubleshooting.
  • Global Exposure: Familiarity with global process/tooling rollout and experience working with cross-functional partners.

Minimum Years of Experience: 5+
Responsibilities: EDI Operation support:

  • Onboarding of new vendors to internal EDI platform
  • Migration of existing vendors from legacy internal EDI platform to new internal EDI platform
  • Manage day to day communications with EDI vendors for Q&A and troubleshooting
  • Monitor EDI dashboard, adding incident tags, extracting data and report for tooling health.
  • Proactively flag risk to the core team.
  • Proactively identify EDI tooling issues in tasks and provide root cause analysis and prompt feedback for each instance.
  • Create and maintain tooling manuals (workflows, tagging, set up requirements and troubleshooting guide).
  • Update tooling configuration and vendor profiles, system master data for team lead approval to support operation.
  • Provide Tier 1 on-call support for Supply Chain tooling issue triage and troubleshooting.
  • Escalate Tier 2 issues to respective teams and follow up for resolution.

Tooling and Process Improvement Support:

  • Value streaming as a process, Identify opportunities for improvement and develop solutions for simple problems.
  • Monitor and report status of enhancement implementation.
  • Assist on user acceptance testing (UAT), debugging and provide status updates.
  • Create and maintain process/training documentation (update WIKI)
  • Assist with global process/tooling rollout.

Minimum experience needed:

  • 5-year experience in Supply Chain, desired to be in area of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI)
  • System or Tooling Implementation experience
  • Basic project management in system implementations, experience in user acceptance testing (UAT)
  • Data analysis skills - using dashboards to analyze data and report to business
  • Advanced Documentation (i.e Process flows creation, SOP documentation, training guides/manuals)
  • Problem solving skill
  • Experience working with cross functional partners

Desired Experience:

  • EDI Signal onboarding and maintenance -Specifically EDI 850 (PO), 855 (POA), 856 (ASN), 860 (CO) and 810 (Invoice)
  • Vendor management
  • Advanced in process flow visualization tools like LucidChart or Visio,Google Sheets/Slides
  • Experience creating and maintaining tooling manuals
  • Global exposure
