Job Details

Job Title: Server Administrator

Duration: 6 months

Location: Oakland County, MI

Key responsibilities:

  • Administer and maintain SCCM/ECM on-premises environments, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
  • Manage workstation lifecycle processes, with emphasis on patch/update deployment and software distribution.
  • Assess existing SCCM/ECM infrastructure for gaps, risks, and performance bottlenecks, and implement improvements.
  • Recommend and execute configuration changes, topology enhancements, and integrations with new tools to enhance efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth deployment of updates and applications across the enterprise.
  • Maintain documentation for configurations, processes, and changes.

Required Qualification:

  • Minimum 6+ years of experience as an SCCM/ECM Administrator.
  • Proven expertise in patch/update deployment and software distribution within SCCM/ECM environments.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to design and implement improvements in complex enterprise environments.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Required Technical Skills:

  • Operating Systems & Infrastructure: Microsoft Server OS, VMware vSphere Infrastructure, Pure Flash Array, Citrix XenApp and NetScaler, Red Hat and Oracle Linux.
  • Core Services & Tools: Internet Information Services (IIS), DNS, DHCP, PowerShell scripting, Windows Server Update Service (SCCM), Active Directory, Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), Identity and Access Management.
  • Storage & Cloud: SAN Administration, Microsoft 365 Services, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Ansible.
