Story Behind the Need - Business Group & Key Projects

• Corporate Cybersecurity project management office. Our purpose is to proactively lead and add value thru the delivery of cybersecurity solutions. 13 current PMO team members. 1 lead BA. 1 intern. 11 senior PMs. This position will support an increased demand for cybersecurity PMO support to mature our processes under the Lighthouse initiative.

Typical Day in the Role

• Position will not typically work overtime. Must receive prior approval is this is required for the project. Daily schedule will typically be 8 hrs. Usually 8am-5pm but needs to flex to support the project teams/projects. Remote. Leads project team meetings and drives project work.

• Potential contract-to-hire. Opportunity to gain experience in and work with a mature Cyber Security PMO in a Fortune 500 company. Opportunity to collaborate with very high performing and experienced project managers and technical leaders in the Cyber Security space. The team has well developed processes to support the PMO in the delivery of work. New PMs are assigned a mentor. Through on-boarding process and training. Team has dedicated team building, training, and brainstorming sessions which enhance our performance.

Candidate Requirements

• Required: Bachelors Preferred: Masters
• Required: Project Management Certification Required Preferred: PMP, PROCSI, CISM, Scrum Master
• Must haves: 5+ years
• Nice to haves: Cyber security project management experience highly desired

• Performance indicators: Must be a self-starter, proactive, work independently and be able to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment. Highly organized. Strong emotional intelligence and critical thinking skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrates indirect influence. Ability to adjust quickly to change - adaptability. Ability to effectively follow and lead. Implement strategic direction into tactical actions. Demonstrate appropriate sense of urgency in execution of work. Willingness to grow in Client's culture.
