The Chassis Systems Control NAFTA Product Division develops innovative solutions for active driving safety including highly automated driving. Areas include: Antilock Braking Systems(ABS), Traction Control Systems(TCS), Electronic Stability Control(ESC), Sensors (wheel-speed, steering-angle, and yaw-rate); Electronics for occupant and pedestrian safety (airbag control and crash sensors), Driver assistance systems (Predictive Emergency Braking, and Night Vision Networked solutions) As a leading supplier in the automotive industry, Robert Bosch LLC has made its Farmington Hills and Plymouth Michigan facilities the headquarters for its North American automotive businesses. Job Description
In this internship, you will work alongside test engineers and feature owners. Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Functional testing of VM-NA braking software in the Software Lab.
- Setting up the lab and updating the HIL and lab setup.
- Work with the simulation and test engineers to develop HIL/SIL (Hardware-in-the-Loop/Software-in-the-Loop) models based on customer requirements.
- Design and execute test cases according to project requirements provided by the test coordinator.
- Perform manual or automated test case execution on HIL/SIL test benches.
- Analyze test results and log software defects.
- Support software developers in reproducing and analyzing software issues reported internally or by customers.
- Prepare project test reports and requirement coverage reports.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or completed a Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering (Electronics, Electrical, Automotive, or Computer Science)
- Minimum GPA of 3.0
- Interest in software validation of automotive industry relevant products
- Understanding of software V&V methodologies, tools, and processes
- Knowledge of embedded software (C, C++, MATLAB, etc)
Preferred Qualifications
- Python basic development is preferred
- Experience with Agile development practices and project management tools
