Title: Compensation Workstream Lead
Location : Hybrid- 3 days a week onsite in Independence, Ohio

Overview:
We are seeking a Compensation Lead to support the successful design, configuration, and execution of core compensation processes within a Workday environment. This role will be responsible for gathering and synthesizing compensation-related business requirements, coordinating across stakeholders, and leading testing efforts to ensure seamless implementation.

Overview:
We are seeking a Compensation Lead to support the successful design, configuration, and execution of core compensation processes within a Workday environment. This role will be responsible for gathering and synthesizing compensation-related business requirements, coordinating across stakeholders, and leading testing efforts to ensure seamless implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and document Compensation Plan requirements, including eligibility criteria for hourly/salaried employees, allowances, and one-time payments.
- Capture Merit and Bonus plan details, including cycle timing, pool configuration, planner worksheets, and reporting needs to support annual planning processes.
- Gather business process requirements related to compensation changes, such as Request Compensation Change and One-Time Payment processes, with a focus on approval workflows and escalation paths.
- Define Compensation Grades and Compensation Profiles, including eligibility criteria and range structures.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to consolidate brand-specific compensation requirements into a comprehensive workbook; act as the primary point of contact for final review and sign-off.
- Lead and execute testing activities for compensation processes in Workday, in partnership with designated brand testers.
- Maintain close alignment with Job Architecture (Core HCM), ensuring that compensation structures are properly tied to job profiles. This role will often work in close coordination with the Core HCM lead due to the interdependencies between job and compensation data.
Qualifications:
- Strong experience with Workday Compensation and Core HCM modules.
- Proven ability to translate complex business requirements into system configurations.
- Experience coordinating across multiple stakeholder groups and consolidating input into actionable deliverables.
- Familiarity with compensation planning cycles, merit and bonus structures, and approval workflows.
- Detail-oriented with a strong understanding of testing methodologies within Workday environments.
