Job Description:

• Our client, a prestigious Am Law 100 global law firm, is seeking a Counsel-level Patent Attorney with at least two years of patent prosecution experience to join its dynamic and highly regarded Intellectual Property practice.
• This opportunity is ideal for a technically strong and strategically minded attorney interested in long-term career growth, with a pathway to Senior Counsel and potential future consideration for Partnership based on performance and firm needs.

Key Qualifications:

• Electrical Engineering degree or closely related field (required)
• Minimum 2 years of patent prosecution experience, preferably with a focus on:
• 5G, Wi-Fi, and other wireless technologies
• Artificial Intelligence (AI)
• Processor and memory systems
• Image processing and RF front-end systems
• Registered with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) or eligible to register
• Admitted to and in good standing with a U.S. Bar (or eligible to waive in)
• Strong academic credentials and exceptional analytical, writing, and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Technical Domain Experience:

• Autonomous vehicles
• Robotics
• Natural language processing
• Wireless communications
• Computer vision
• Other AI-related technologies

Additional Experience:

• Experience managing global patent portfolios and advising clients on strategic IP matters is highly preferred
• Proven ability to collaborate with inventors, engineers, and in-house counsel to translate innovation into strategic patent protection.
