We are seeking an experienced and outstanding Scrum Master for one of our esteemed clients.

Role: Scrum master

Location: Dallas, TX

Duration: Long-term

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies including Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
  • Coach team members on Agile principles and ensure proper implementation of the Scrum framework.
  • Remove roadblocks and shield the team from external interruptions and distractions.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Owners to maintain a well-groomed and prioritized product backlog.
  • Track and communicate key Agile metrics such as velocity, burndown, and team performance.
  • Guide the team toward becoming a high-performing, self-organizing unit.
  • Foster transparency, team accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Manage stakeholder communication and ensure alignment between technical teams and business goals.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to support release planning and coordination.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar Agile role.
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PMI-ACP, or equivalent Agile certification.
  • Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum frameworks and software development lifecycle.
  • Experience using Agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps).
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and facilitation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in scaled Agile environments (e.g., SAFe, LeSS).
  • Background in software development, QA, or business analysis.
  • Experience in cloud, DevOps, or digital transformation projects.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
  • Empathetic leadership and mentoring mindset.
  • High adaptability and comfort in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
