Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Change Management Lead to drive the people-centric aspects of this complex, large-scale migration, ensuring a seamless transition for our 42,000-strong workforce with minimal disruption and maximum adoption.
The ideal candidate will be a thought leader in organizational change management within large-scale IT transformations, particularly those involving transitions from Microsoft to Google environments. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing the comprehensive change management strategy, focusing on user experience, training, communication, and stakeholder engagement to build employee confidence and mitigate resistance.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of progressive experience in organizational change management, specifically leading change initiatives for large-scale enterprise IT transformations.
- Proven experience in leading change management for migrations from Microsoft 365 (Outlook/Exchange) to Google Workspace (Gmail, G-Cal, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides) is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated expertise in designing and implementing comprehensive "Train the Trainer" (TtT) programs for large organizations (40,000+ employees).
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles and various training methodologies (e.g., blended learning, virtual, onsite).
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage at all organizational levels.
- Experience in developing and executing multi-faceted communication plans.
- Ability to act as a strategic thought partner to leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing user adoption challenges.
- Familiarity with workstation software removal processes and transitions in licensing models is a plus.
- Change management certification (e.g., Prosci) is highly desirable.
- Experience working in a hybrid work environment is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Change Management Strategy & Leadership: Design, develop, and lead the overarching change management strategy and plan for the M365 to Google Workspace migration, ensuring alignment with 's strategic goals and a focus on user adoption.
- User Experience (UX) Advocacy: Act as a champion for the end-user experience, introducing best practices for email and calendar transitions and integrating user feedback into the migration process.
- Training Program Design & Oversight:
- Collaborate with the project team and subject matter experts to design a comprehensive training strategy, emphasizing a blended learning model.
- Crucially, design and oversee the implementation of a robust "Train the Trainer" (TtT) program to ensure scalable and effective knowledge dissemination across a 42,000-strong workforce.
- Ensure the development of modular, tailored training materials (guides, videos, FAQs, tips) for all user groups.
- Oversee the delivery of live training sessions, including specialized "white-glove" training for executive assistants and other high-touch groups.
- Provide strategic guidance on utilizing Google's recommended learning approaches and resources for training.
- Communication Planning & Execution: Develop and execute a phased, multi-channel communication plan to inform, engage, and excite employees about the migration, articulating the vision and benefits of the change (including potential scripting and production of a marketing video).
- Stakeholder Engagement & Champion Program:
- Identify, engage, and support key stakeholders and a network of internal champions to drive adoption and provide peer-to-peer support.
- Consult on and identify "white-glove" user groups requiring specialized attention.
- Support Model Development: Partner with support teams to prepare them for the transition, including training support teams and building out engagement strategies.
- Self-Help & Documentation: Manage the development and rollout of comprehensive self-help resources, FAQs, and detailed documentation for early education and ongoing support.
- Workflow Transition Design: Collaborate with business units to document and design smooth workflow transitions from legacy systems to Google Workspace.
- Post-Migration Support: Oversee the provision of continuous on-call support during transition phases and address mobile device user experience and management challenges.
- Risk & Resistance Management: Proactively identify potential areas of user resistance or adoption challenges and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Measurement & Evaluation: Define metrics for success and establish mechanisms to measure adoption, user satisfaction, and the overall effectiveness of change management interventions.
