***THIS ROLE IS 100% REMOTE**

HOURS: Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM (EST)

Project Manager will manager enterprise-level Grants Management Solution, a high-profile initiative that will standardize and modernize the way state agencies administer grants. This project will consolidate those efforts into a single unified software solution with an initial roll-out to 10 state agencies. This exciting initiative is in its early stages and offers a unique opportunity for a Project Manager to lead this enterprise technology initiative. The Project Manager will manage all aspects of the project from initiation to closure and lead a cross-functional team of agency stakeholders, business users, IT professionals, and vendor partners.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Lead full life cycle project management for the grants management system implementation
Lead the development of a governance plan and framework for managing enterprise-wide changes
Lead the development of a repeatable implementation Playbook for new agencies to onboard onto the grants enterprise level management system
Define and manage project scope, objectives, and deliverables
Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and timelines
Provide regular reporting on project status, risks, and milestones to executive leadership
Coordinate and manage stakeholder relationships and communication across state agencies
Manage internal project team resources and external vendor teams, ensuring alignment with Statements of Work (SOW)
Identify, manage, and mitigate risks and issues
Drive change management and communication strategies to support user adoption
Organize and facilitate meetings, ensuring effective collaboration and communication

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:

** The IDEAL CANDIDATE will have a STRONG background in PUBLIC SECTOR sector project delivery, enterprise systems implementation, and vendor management. This role requires exceptional stakeholder engagement, change management, and strategic coordination to ensure successful implementation and adoption of the new solution across state agencies.

10+ years of Project Management experience, managing large-scale, high-visibility technology projects
Demonstrated success leading enterprise software implementations, managing diverse stakeholder groups and change management
Proven experience with vendor management
Outstanding verbal and written communication with the ability to synthesize and present complex information clearly
Strong presentation and executive reporting skills
Comfort in navigating a matrixed environment to drive progress and decision-making
Proficiency in various project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.)
Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite, PPM tools (Monday.com, etc.), JIRA, and Confluence

DESIRED SKILLS:
Experience in the public sector or with government agencies highly preferred
Understanding of grants administration process highly preferred
Familiarity with public sector grants workflows, systems, or program administration
PMP (Project Management Professional) certification
Bachelor s or Master s degree in business or related field
