Role: Performance Engineer with below Hardware handling experience
Location: Houston, TX
Type: Contract
JD:
- Assemble, configure, and test server hardware platforms for bring-up.
- Install and configure operating systems (Linux, Windows, VMware) and drivers.
- Perform BIOS, CPLD, FW, VR, and BMC installation/flashing, including chipset driver updates.
- Connect systems to network environments using DHCP/Static IP configurations.
- Develop and implement debug tools and procedures to accelerate deployment.
- Perform root cause analysis of hardware/software failures and document findings.
- Maintain detailed documentation of hardware/software configurations, debug activities, and results.
- Support remote teams by troubleshooting and resolving platform-level issues.
- Stay current on emerging hardware, firmware, and software technologies.
